Water Skiing or is it Water Dragging?

We went boating with Adam's parents here a couple weeks ago. It was so fun. Adam got dragged a lot and drank a lot of water, but did manage to get up on the skis for his first time by the end. His brother, Jarod, got up for his first time in record time. He did awesome. Mick and Tori rode the tube and had a good time. Tori got wore out and fell asleep before we were done, so I got to hold her like a baby, which I did not mind at all. It happens way to little anymore.

BBF

This is my best friend, Robyn. She and I have remained friends for going on 17 years now. WOW! Am I really that old that I can say that? I just love her and am glad I have her. She knows more about me than anyone cause she has been there with me through it all, whether it was laughing together, getting into trouble together, or crying together. Let's hear it for BBF!

Happy Birthday Dear Mick

It's that time again........time to plan for weeks for a party that is over and forgotten about real fast. Time to crash in exhaustion after the party is over for about 3 hours. It's time also to realize how much your child has grown and to be proud of him, but also feel a little sad all at the same time.

Mick wanted an Army party for his 6th birthday. We had camo face painting, an obstacle course, a tug-o-war, a rescue mission game, and of course, cake and ice cream. I think it went well. Mick was happy with it, so that's all that matters.

This is Mick's cake that I baked. I know it's not professional, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Family Reunion

So it's time to introduce you all to the "Adam's Family." It was reunion time last weekend. It was a lot of fun. We played games, ate (and ate and ate), visited and made some crafts. It was so beautiful on the mountain, so green and so many flowers...................

ONE WEDDING AND TWO BLESSINGS

I was organized our guest room closet, saw my wedding dress and thought Victoria might like to see mommy in a "princess bride" dress. I put it on and she was so excited to wear it someday when she gets "murried." Her and Mick's blessing outfits were made out of leftover material by their Grandma Bebbs from when my wedding dress was sewn. I dug Tori's dress out to show it to her and she wanted to wear it. Amazingly, it still fit and she was so excited. She told us it was great for spinning in. My mother in law wanted to see a picture of all of us with our outfits. Mick had strep throat and his heart was definately not in posing for this picture and I have NO idea what Tori was thinking. hehe.

Falling Father

Adam was talked into skydiving this Father's day weekend with his brother, Rhett. They jumped from an altitude of 13,000 feet with an instructor strapped to them (thank heaven.) Everyone who jumped said it was pretty awesome. The sick feeling in my stomach, not so awesome, but all the chutes opened and it was a great day for all.

A Week Without Kids

Grandma Bebbs took the kids for 5 days. Thank you!! They had fun, and we definately had fun. We went to dinner and didn't need crayons and coloring menus. We went shopping without hurrying or saying, "don't touch" endless times. We went to see the new Narnia movie, which we highly reccommend. It was excellent. And we went hiking on a six mile hike up Diamond Fork in Spanish Fork canyon to some warm springs. It was an awesome day for hiking; not hot, and not cold either. While we love our kids and missed them occasionally, it was nice to do some grown up things for a few days.
